Get Involved
Getting involved with the work of the Lakes Council is as simple as contacting us about your interests. We have a number of opportunities for citizens to contribute their time, talents and expertise:
- Organizational Activities: Join one of the Lakes Council's active committees: Membership, Grants and Communications.
- Research and Education: Monitor lakes, streams and aquatic invasive species. Volunteer for the Clean Boats, Clean Waters watercraft inspection program.
- Planning: Provide comments on a strategic plan for prevention and control of aquatic invasive species. Represent another group you belong to on a resource committee planning and implementing collaborative lake protection projects.
If you have questions about where you might fit in, contact us.
